Roxie Howell

March 21, 1965 — August 9, 2003

Waynesville-Roxie Deanna Woody Howell, age 38, of Opal Court, died Saturday,
August 9, 2003 at her residence.

She was a native of Haywood County and was the daughter of Crawford Lee Woody of White Oak and the late Lottie Matilda Conard Woody, who died in 1992.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, William Dennis Rose; a son, William Alan Howell and a daughter, Kerie Deann Howell, both of Waynesville; a sister, Patricia Woody Inman of Clyde; three brothers, David Lee Lawson Woody and Crawford Henry Woody, both of Waynesville and Adam Joshua Woody of Hazelwood; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2003 at Liberty Baptist Church. Reverend Jerry Nelson and Reverend Millard Grant will officiate. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the services, at the church.

The pallbearers will be William Alan Howell, Jeffery Alan Inman, Rodney Smith, Crawford Inman Woody, Adam Joshua Woody, Andrew Horton, Kevin Ledford, and Tom Coyne.

Wells Funeral Home in Waynesville is in charge of arrangements.
