Roy Price

Roy Carlton Price, age 71, died Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Emerald Ridge in Woodfin. He was a native of Catawba County and the son of the late Clyde Clayton and Ada Perry Price. He retired from Ingles Food Warehouse with 20 years of service and attended the Church of God of Prophecy. He was a United States Army veteran serving in Korea. In addition to his wife of 22 ½ years, Mary Edwards Price, he is survived by a daughter, Sherry Price; two step-daughters, Sandra Lynn Robinson of Norcross, GA and Rebecca Robinson of Asheville; a sister, Mary Watts of Enoree, SC; three brothers, Virgil, Norman and Tommy Price all of Newton, NC; three grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Reverend Rick Brogdon and Reverend Chris Reece officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
