Ruby Allen

Waynesville, Ruby Louise Thomas Allen, age 95, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Haywood Lodge. A native of Biloxi, Mississippi, she had lived most of her life in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was the daughter of the late William John and Louise May Thomas and was also preceded in death by her husband, Collis Talmadge Allen, who died in 1996. She is survived by two daughters, Jean Brown and her husband Ed of Clyde and Judy Bettridge and her husband Fred of Conifer, Colorado; one son, John Allen and his wife Irma of St. Petersburg, Florida; four grandchildren, Mark and Steve Brown , Amy Allen and Jonniene Allen Moritz and two great-grandchildren, Chris and John Moritz. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Florida.
