Ruby Haney

Clyde- Ruby Hall Warren Haney, age 93, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at the Oaks of Sweeten Creek in Arden. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late William Patterson and Sarah Bennett Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Grover Warren, and also by her second husband, Dillard Haney, one brother and two sisters. She was employed with Britthaven Nursing Home and attended Fincher's Chapel United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, Benny Joe Warren and his wife, Clara, of Seneca, South Carolina and William "Bill" Warren and his wife, Martha, of Asheville; three grandchildren, Dr. Jolanda Warren, Matthew Warren, and Alan Warren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2015 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend R. Curran Welch officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:45 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at White Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
