Ruby Mann

Bethel-Ruby Griffin Mann, age 78, of the Bethel community, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and was a daughter of the late Arthur Griffin and Gertrude Watson and was also preceded in death by a son, Larry Mann. She is survived by her husband, Troy William (Bill) Mann of Bethel, one daughter Diane Ford and her husband Benny of Clyde, one son Gary Mann of Bethel, one sister Sue Campfield and her husband Ralph of Lexington, NC, one brother Duey Griffin and his wife Jan of Walhalla, SC, 4 grandchildren; Candy Smith and her husband Ricky, Tonya Ford, Wayne Mann and his wife Lawanda and Dusty Ford and his wife Jennifer and 7 great-grandchildren; Michael Ford, Matthew Best, Morgan Smith, Jonathan Mann, Chevy Smith, Dawson Smith and Christopher Mann. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2005 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services. Reverend Dr. Roy Kilby will officiate. Burial will follow at Bethel Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service. At other times, the family will be at the residence of Bill Mann, 424 Sunny Drive, Waynesville, NC 28786. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 90 Stiles Road, Canton, NC 28716.
