Ruby Revis

Waynesville, Ruby Lee Revis, age 95, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at The Homestead. A native of Marion County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late William Lee and Mary Elizabeth O'Neil Smith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Geneva Graybeal; three brothers, Joseph, Otis and Russell Smith; and two nephews. Ruby was employed by Champion International for 37 years and was a member of Allens Creek Baptist Church. Ruby loved maintaining her home and tending to her garden. She also enjoyed her collection of horse figurines. Ruby is survived by six nieces, Carolann Woods, Terri Kennedy, Marietta Edwards, Darla Jean Mathis, Curtis Lee Mullins and Majetta Roberts; two nephews, Buddy Otis Smith and Joseph Michael Smith. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2016 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Eddie Deitz and Reverend Tim Moody officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
