Ruth Blaylock

Ruth Garnes Blaylock, age 86, died Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Jesse and Leona Bell Henson Garnes. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ralph Blaylock who died in 2002; four brothers and two sisters. She retired from Dayco in 1988 with 38 years of service. She was a member of East Fork Baptist Church. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Debbi Hall and her husband, Ronnie; two sons, Denver Blaylock and Phillip Blaylock and his wife, Patricia all of Canton; seven grandchildren, Kandi McMullen, Todd Blaylock, Misti Moss, Curtis Blaylock, Brad Blaylock, Jason Hall and Aaron Hall and eight great-grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor and Peyton McMullen, Destini Blaylock, Cager and Keaton Moss and Nathan and Garrett Blaylock. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2005 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with the Reverend Matthew Pruett officiating. Burial will follow at New Cruso Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the home.
