Ruth Clark

Canton, Ruth Margaret Wright Clark, age 87, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late France and Sallie Wright. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Clark who died in 1989. Ruth enjoyed quilting, crocheting and was a member of Burnette Cove Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Danny and Jimmy Clark both of Canton; one granddaughter, Danica Clark of Canton and two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Evangeline. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2011 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Barry Clark officiating. Burial will follow at the New Cruso Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
