Ruth Jokisch

Maggie Valley-Eva Ruth Jones Jokisch, age 75, a resident of South Padre Island, TX and Maggie Valley, died on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Jefferson County, AL, she was the daughter of the late Eugene B. and Florence B. Barnes Jones. She was a retired bookkeeper. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, John Howard Jokisch; two daughters, Deborah Johnson and her husband, Robert, of Manalapan, NJ and Susan Kreis and her husband, David, of Canton, MI; two sisters, Barbara Bauldree and her husband, Winston, of Jay, FL and Carolyn Kochli and her husband, John, of Houston, TX, and Sara Rolin and her husband, Carl, of Harold, FL; and two grandchildren, Lesley and Chelsea Kreis, both of MI. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2006 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Paul Starnes officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
