Ruth Lynch

"Loving Mother" Candler – Ruth Lyon Lynch, 102, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. A native of Marion County, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Hattie Trussler Lyon. She moved from Slidell, Louisiana to Buncombe County and had resided there for seven years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Raymond Lynch, who died in 1993; one sister, Gladys Beaver; and two brothers, Harry and Joe Lyon. Ruth enjoyed doing needlework, tatting, crafts, traveling, and baking. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Slidell, Louisiana. She is survived by two daughters, Diana (Dennis) Charles of Candler and Gena (James) Soileau of Prescott, Arizona; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. An inurnment will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Green Camp Cemetery, Green Camp, Ohio.
