Ruth Stefanchick

Waynesville-Ruth Naomi Gutowski Stefanchick, age 85, died on Sunday, November 19, 2006 at the Brian Center of Waynesville. A native of Wilkes-Barre, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Edna Easton Stefanchick. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Stephen J. Stefanchick, who died in 1961. She was employed by Eckerd's for many years as a cashier and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. She was a US Army veteran of World War II. She is survived by a son, Joseph Stefanchick and his wife, Debra, of Canton; four grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 26 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in Clyde.
