Sally Fernandez Walkes

Waynesville – Sally Walkes, 95, of the Bethel Community passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at her residence.  

A native of Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Ernestina and Joseph Fernandez and had resided in Haywood County since 2004.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Milton H. Walkes and a brother.

Sally is survived by a daughter, Garth Kuver, of Waynesville; a grandson, Matthew H. Kuver of Tennessee; and a great granddaughter, Indigo Sky Kuver.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
