Sandra Pressley

Waynesville – Sandra Lee Amos Pressley, 69, went to meet Jesus on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at her residence.

Sandra was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and a daughter of Judith Devlin Amos and the late Sewell Dean Amos.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rueann Ross and brother, Terry Dean Amos.  Sandra was a medical assistant with Haywood Pediatrics for 25 years, retiring in 2012 and was a member of Encouraging Word Baptist Church.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 33 years, Dean Pressley; a daughter, Haley Griffith (Jason); two sons, Michael Pressley (Morgan Henson) and Stephen Pressley (Bailee Towsley); and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Michael Horton and Reverend Donnie Buchanan officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Community Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Garett Ward, Gary Buckner, James Burress, Hunter Alexander, Dustin Myers, and Travis Green.
