Sandra Rogers

Elaine Allen Rogers, 61 of Spring Creek passed away on Sunday, February 28th at Memorial Mission Hospital after an extended illness. Elaine is preceded in death by her parents, Taylor and Elva Massey Allen, and Grady Coward, as well as her husband Douglas Rogers, an infant sister Marthann Allen, and a brother John Allen.

Left to cherish her memories are her four sons, Steven Rogers of Leicester, Jeremy Rogers (Meghan) of Burnsville, Ryan Rogers of the home and Joshua Rogers (Ann) of Leicester; brothers, Raymond Allen (Maggie) of Leicester, Roger Allen (Janie) of Leicester and Dean Coward (Darlene) of Lawrenceville Georgia; sisters include Lucille Cordova, Debbie Hensley, Lorena Naillon of Burnsville, Brenda Briggs (Rocky Flemming) of Marshall, and Patti Willett (Darrell) of Spring Creek, a sister-in-law Georgia Allen; grandchildren, Gabby, Lilly, Sam and Owen, Bella and Madilyn, and Maverick Rogers; and her best little four-legged friend (Lexi) who stayed by her side through much of her illness.

Elaine will be remembered for her laughter, her beautiful smile, natural beauty and her passion for life. She fought a good fight, kept the faith and finished her course. She will be missed by her family and all who knew her. A celebration of life will be held to honor her memory at a later date.

Wells Funeral Home in Waynesville has been entrusted with Sandra's care.
