Sara Johnson

September 15, 1939 — February 21, 2010

Waynesville, Sara Francis Evans "Squeaky" Johnson, age 70, of 27 Evans Drive, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the Brian Center. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late George Manson and Bonnie Lorraine Owens Evans and was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kendra Davis who died in 2005. She is survived by two sons, Craig B. Johnson of Spokane, Washington and Ruel Davis of Waynesville; two sisters, Mary Ann Moore of Hazelwood and Deborah Yvonne Evans of Laurinburg, NC; special loving niece and caregiver, Kendra A. Moore; nephews, Michael Keith and Ronnie D. Moore; great niece and nephew, Kayla A. and Kevin L. Moore; and great-great nephew, Evin Moore. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Rhinehart officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
