Sarah Branson

"Loving Wife, Mother& Grandmother" Canton – Sarah Anita Henderson Branson, age 90, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016 at her residence. A native of Henderson County, she was the daughter of the late John Lindsey and Maybelle Anders Henderson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Phil Lester Branson, who died in 1993 and two brothers, John and Bill Henderson. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Larry Linn Branson and his wife, Deborah, of Penrose, NC; a sister, Louise Conell and her husband, Paul; two brothers, Thomas Henderson and his wife, Jane, and Robert Henderson and his wife, Esther all of Flat Rock, NC; a grandson, Patrick Branson of Columbia, SC and Sarah's special caregivers, Bob Clore, Sharon Noland and Angelina Williams. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 on Monday, August 22, 2016 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Darrell Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Old Clyde Road. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
