Scott Simonds

Waynesville, John Scott Simonds, 50, of Germany Cove Road, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital. A native of Gainesville, Georgia, he was the son of Bobby Hugh and Shirley Diane Dale Simonds of Eastanolee, Georgia. Scott enjoyed his dog, Ace, and also loved trout fishing, boating and hunting. In addition to his parents, he is survived by an Uncle Roy Dale and his wife, Carol, of Cordele, Georgia and a grandson, Tyler Herila. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2015 at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville. An additional visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 7 at Little-Ward Funeral Home in Commerce, Georgia. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home in Commerce with Reverend Gary Prater officiating. Burial will follow at Nicholson Cemetery in Nicholson, Georgia.
