Seby Rhodarmer

Waynesville-Seby David Rhodarmer, age 73, of 197 Dewey Ross Road, died Thursday, February 17, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Davis and Maude Lee Messer Rhodarmer. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Conard, Ann Davis, and Rena Pruitt. He was a retired driver for Southwestern Child Development. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Virginia Rhodarmer; a son, Seby Neil Rhodarmer of Waynesville; two daughters, Sue Shuler and her husband, DeRoy, of Waynesville and Virginia A. Givens and her husband, Barry, of Statesville, NC; two sisters, Mary Browning and Nancy Meadows, both of Waynesville; and a brother, Davis Rhodarmer, of Waynesville; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2005 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Homes and Cremation Services with Reverend Jerry Nelson, Reverend Bobby Downs, and Reverend Terry Green officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home, and at other times the family will be at the home of the son, 240 Dewey Ross Road. Serving as pallbearers will be Barry Givens, Tai Rhodarmer, Archie and DeRoy Shuler, and Dale and Dewey Lanning.
