Sharon Cordell

Sharon Tilley Cordell, age 43, of 376 Wendy Way died unexpectedly Friday, December 24, 2004 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and the daughter of the Reverend Spencer Tilley and Evelyn Freeman Tilley. She had attended Full Gospel Holiness Church in Canton. In addition to her parents, Sharon is survived by her husband, Darrell Cordell of Clyde; two daughters, Brooke Tilley of the home and Crystal Cordell of Canton; three sons, Heath Tilley and Austin Jackson, both of the home and Zachary Cordell of Canton; a sister, Anita Burris of Canton; three brothers, Tony and Doug Tilley both of Canton and Kerry Tilley of Waynesville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with the Reverend James Franklin Wyatt and Reverend Doris Pressley officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the home of Sharon's parents, Rev. Spencer and Evelyn Tilley, 29 Chantilly Court, Clyde. Pallbearers will be Jason and Brent Tilley, Scott Moore, Zachary Cordell, John Pembroke and Tim Cagle. Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip Pressley, Donnie Ayers and Lane Ruff.
