Sharon Raines

Canton - Sharon Kaye Raines, age 52, of 100 Nayak Ridge died Thursday, January 5, 2006 at a Savannah, Georgia hospital. She was born in Pasadena, TX, but lived in Canton most of her life. She was the daughter of Martha Johnson Allen of Canton and the late Jack Raines of Pasadena, TX. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Clyde and Fay Johnson and her paternal grandparents. She was a 1971 graduate of Pisgah High School. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Jon Mark Singleton of Canton; a sister, Wanda Hawkins and her husband, Dana of Brevard; two brothers, Mark Allen and his wife, Cathy of Canton and Jim Allen and his wife, Elise of Clyde; two very special nieces, Amy Allen and Anna Hawkins and a special nephew, Billy Allen. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2006 at the Canton chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Jerry Ensley officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at 176 Osborne Farm Road, Canton.
