Sheila Deweese

Canton, GA - Sheila Louise Deweese - age 83 died Tuesday, December 07, 2004 at Kennestone Hospital in Kennesaw, GA. She was a native of Haywood County and was the daughter of the late Ernest G. and Callie L. Shook Darnell Hawkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband Floyd "Flossie" Deweese who died in 1979 and was a member of Clyde Central United Methodist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Rita Hare of Canton, GA and one son, John W. Deweese of Jasper, GA; 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2004 at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery on Newfound Road with the Reverend Randall A. Tingle officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Canton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Red Cross, 1668 Brown Avenue, Waynesville, NC 28786.
