Sheila Moore

September 27, 1960 — February 22, 2016

Young Harris, Georgia, Sheila Green Moore, 55, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Ronnie Green Heart Center in Gainesville, Georgia. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of late Walter Willard and Pauline Ruby Keener Green and was also preceded in death by a brother, Arnold Emment Green. Sheila is survived by her husband, Jerry Moore, of Young Harris, Georgia; two step-daughters, Leann and Sara Moore, both of Hayesville; two step-sons, Chad Matheson, of Hayesville and Derick Myers of South Carolina; one sister Sharon Scott, of Waynesville; a special friend, Elva Rogers; six grandchildren, Braiden and Caylee Martin, Adrian and Austin, Byron and Colton Martin; and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Keenerville Christian Church with Reverend Paul Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
