Shirley Roberson

Shirley Wilson Roberson, age 72, formerly of Sharptown Road died on Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at MedWest – Haywood. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Troy and Louise Wilson. She was also preceded in death by two sons Michael Lee Roberson, who died in 2008 and Billy Roberson. She was a former employee of PLUS Laundry and Canton Health Care. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Sheila W. Roberson of Canton. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2012, at West Canton Baptist Church with the Reverend George Holley officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Wells Funeral Home of Canton is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to West Canton Baptist Church, 75 Lowe Street, Canton, NC 28716.
