Shy Lurie

Maggie Valley-Sheiler Peller Lurie, age 67, of 142 Riddle Cove Road, died Tuesday, December 24, 2002 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

He was a native of Chicago, Illinois and was the son of the late Sarah Peller Lurie. He was a systems analyst in the restaurant management industry.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Brady Lurie; two daughters, Cheryl W. Lurie, of San Francisco, CA, and Elizabeth P. Pungello, of Chapel Hill, NC; one son, Scott I. Lurie, of Browntown, West Virginia; one brother, Bernard Peller, of Chicago, Illinois; and 5 step-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2003 at the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
