Sibyl Clark

Sibyl Lee Clark, age 87, died Friday, August 8, 2008, at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Earley and Rosa Brock Clark. She was preceded in death by a cousin, Carol Lee Wrenn. She retired from Champion International where she began working when she was 18 years old. She was a member of North Canton Baptist Church. Sibyl was a long-time supporter of the Humane Society. She is survived by four cousins, Lucinda Gasperson and her husband, Reverend Donald Gasperson, of Candler, Mary Jo Fore of Arden, Mildred Epley of Candler, and Aza Lee West of Fl; two nephews, Andy Gasperson of Brevard and George Wrenn of Hendersonville; four nieces, Donna Greenleaf of Waynesville, Angela Ball of Candler, Rose Sharkey of Fl, and Cynthia Phillips of Old Fort; and many great nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, August 11, 2008, at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Mark Caldwell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home of Canton. Pallbearers will be Andy Gasperson, George Wrenn, Lee Greenleaf, Keith Ball, Sam Moore, and Olin Ball. Memorials may be made to Haywood Animal Welfare Association, P. O.
