Sidney Williams

Waynesville-Sidney Nichole Williams, of Woodmore Drive, age 9, went to live with Jesus Thursday, November 23, 2006 at Wake Forest University Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was a third grade student at Jonathan Valley Elementary School, a member of Antioch Baptist Church and a member of AWANNA Club. She is survived by her parents, Edward Mark and Rebecca Duncan Williams of Waynesville, one brother, Hunter Lee Williams of the home; maternal grandparents, Dayton and Lois Duncan of Spruce Pine; paternal grandparents, Eddie and Martha Williams also of Spruce Pine; aunts and uncles, Kevin and Lisa Hoilmon of Spruce Pine, Roger and Pam Duncan of Hendersonville, Greg and Janice Williams of Spruce Pine and two cousins, Jessica and Grace Hoilmon of Spruce Pine. Funeral services will be held at Antioch Baptist Church, Sunday, November 26, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. with Reverend Steve Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Roger Duncan, Greg Williams, Kevin Hoilmon and Bryan Sitton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church Children's Playground, 542 Ironduff Road, Waynesville, NC 28785.
