Stella Sisk

Waynesville-Stella Mae Ruff Sisk, age 94, of 187 Harris Street, died on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at her residence. A native of Del Rio, TN, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Hester Cutshall Ruff and was also preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Roy Sisk, who died in 1979 and a son, Roy Elmer Sisk, one sister Thelma Hullett, two brothers Herbert and Charles Ruff. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed Crochet, quilting and cooking and volunteering at the Haywood Christian Ministries. She is survived by her daughter, Gladys Gibson and her husband Ray, a son, Gerald Sisk and his wife Eva Jo, all of Waynesville; two sisters, Elizabeth Hill and Lena Jo Wilson both of Waynesville, six grandchildren; and eleven great- grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild, all her caregivers including Lou Ann, Kathy and Lla Leet. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2006 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Dennis Ruff officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wilburn, Marvin, and Melvin Mills, Gary Cagle, Jerry Cutshaw, and J. B. Sisk. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and at other times, the family will be at home of Gerald Sisk, 84 Morning Drive, Waynesville.
