STEPHEN ERIC CALDWELL

Waynesville-Stephen Eric Caldwell, age 48, of 54 Anthony Street, crossed over to be with our Lord on Wednesday, January 1, 2003.

He was a native of Haywood County and was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Dwayne Robinson; a paternal grandfather, Homer P. Caldwell and paternal grandmother, Flora Caldwell Laws.

He is survived by his mother, Louise Robinson Cochran of Waynesville, and his father, Marshall G. Caldwell and his wife, Ruth, of Maggie Valley; a brother, Timothy B. Cochran, of Waynesville; and a spiritual brother, Jeff Pless, of Waynesville; and a maternal grandmother, Lou Ellen Robinson, of Waynesville. He is also survived by Linda Rathbone and her husband, Joe, of Waynesville; and several aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2003 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend G. W. Jameson and Reverend Don Letzring officiating. The family is receiving friends at the home of his mother at 54 Anthony Street, Waynesville, and at the home of his father at 170 Nottingham Road, Maggie Valley.
