Stephen Coci

Clyde-Stephen N. Coci, age 56, of Grey Fox Trail, died Friday, January 7, 2005 at his residence. He was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, having resided in Florence, South Carolina, before moving to Haywood County in October of 2001. He was the son of the late William and Mary Kipper Coci. He was a computer programmer in the mortgage industry and was a member of Fines Creek Memorial Baptist Church. He enjoyed short wave radio, carpentry, hiking, and he loved his dogs. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Christine Coci; his mother-in-law, Sylvia Gudan of Metairie, Louisiana; his sister, Phyllis Fitch of Kenner, Louisiana; and many brothers and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. At the request of the family, no services are planned. Memorials may be made to Haywood Animal Welfare Association, P.O. Box 992, Waynesville, NC 28786. Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services of Waynesville is in charge of arrangements.
