Stephen Duncan

Waynesville, Stephen Wade Duncan, 53, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at his residence. A native of Haywood County, he is the son of Wade Duncan and the late Doris Marie Blanton Duncan. Steve is a member of Fairview Baptist Church and was self employed as a wood worker. He loved wood working and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his father he is survived by his wife of 29 years, Tina Duncan; two daughters, Holly Duncan and Dewayne Wyatt, Amber Duncan Chafin, and her husband, Hunter Chafin, all of Waynesville; and two grandchildren, Madison and Natalie Wyatt. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Jennings Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Hunter Chafin, Dewayne Wyatt, Johnny Jones, Wayne Crawford, Jeff Cody and Dwight Townsend.
