Steven Berg

Waynesville, Steven Ronald Berg, age 51, died on Saturday, March 20, 2010 as a result of an accident. He was a native of Rochester, Minnesota, and had lived in Naples, Florida, until moving to Haywood County in 2003. He is the son of Ronald and Patricia Arnold Berg of Rochester, Minnesota. Steven loved life in general and his family and friends. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles. In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sons, Steve Berg and his wife, Melinda, Cary Berg and his wife, Heather all of Vero Beach, Florida and Anthony Berg and his wife, Bethany, of Woodstock, Georgia; one daughter, Katie Van Horn and her husband, Bobby, of Floyd, Virginia; one sister, Debbie Roberts and her husband, Steve, of Blue Springs, Missouri; one brother, Brad Berg and his wife, Karen, of Rochester, Minnesota; 12 grandchildren; an ex-wife, Kathleen Arthur, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 116 Nora Harrell Drive, Waynesville, NC 28786. A memorial service will also be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Autumn Ridge Church, 3611 Salem Road, Southwest Rochester, Minnesota. Memorials may be made to Steve A.
