James "Orange" Sutton, age 39, of Holtzclaw Street died Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. He was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and the son of Kyle and Margaret Kemp Sutton. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elbert and Eva Sutton and Earl Kemp. Steve loved to travel with his friends to Charlotte for car shows. He also thoroughly enjoyed watching NASCAR, antiquing and collecting junk with his father. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandmother, Blanche Kemp of Canton; four aunts, Julia Bailey and her husband, Dave, of Marshall; Ila Campbell of Bethel, Wilma Moore of Knoxville, TN, and Lena Roberts and her husband, Henry, of Leicester; four uncles, Robert Sutton and his wife, Wanda, Henry Sutton and his wife, Wilma, Lawrence Sutton and his wife, Lucille, and Tom Sutton and his wife, Helen, all of Leicester; cousins, Kathleen Robinson and her husband, Richard, and Charlene Smith and her husband, David, all of Canton; and several other cousins and hundreds of friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2007, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Harry Worley and Reverend Bruce Cayton officiating. Burial will follow at Morning Star Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at 47 Jody Cove Road.
