STEVEN R. WALLACE

Maggie Valley-Steven Ralph Wallace, age 43, of 49 Riverside Villa Drive, died Saturday, February 22, 2003 in Washington, Indiana.

A native of Bell County, Kentucky, he had resided in Haywood County for the past 20 years. He was the son of Ralph Owen Wallace and Mary Gray Walker Wallace of Maggie Valley. He was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Riche, who died in 1993. He was a trucker and was employed by Myers Brothers Trucking Company of Washington, Indiana.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Chrystal and Alisha Wallace of Sylva; two sons, Danny and Robert Wallace of Sylva; one sister, Dawn Womack, and her husband, Steve, of Buford, Georgia; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2003 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend David Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
