Stuart Cagle

Stuart Michael Cagle, age 36, of 64 Stanley Drive in the Bethel Community, died Sunday, August 12, 2007 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Haywood County and was preceded in death by two brothers, Stephen Wayne Cagle, who died in 1989, and Stanley Allen Cagle, who died in 1984; and a niece Emily Payne, who died in 2002. Stuart graduated in 1989 from Pisgah High School. He was an avid Pisgah Bears fan and loved the University of North Carolina Tarheels. Stuart was also a member of Crestview Baptist Church. He is survived by his parents, Gudger and Nancy Trull Cagle of Canton; a sister, Shannon Payne and her husband, Derek, of Canton; two nieces, Olivia and Lily Payne and a nephew, Hayden Payne, all of Canton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2007, at the chapel of Wells Funeral Home of Canton with the Reverend Jerry Ensley and Reverend Jake Cagle officiating. Burial will follow at New Cruso Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. At other times, the family will be at the home, 64 Stanley Drive. The pallbearers will be Curtis Cagle, Neill Cagle, Jeremy Cagle, James Ray Trull, Tim Trull and Lenny Hodge.
