Sudie Farmer

Sudie Couch Farmer, 74, of Asheville, passed away Friday, April 12th, 2013. She was born in Harlan County, KY to the late Harrison and Sallie Ann Lewis Couch. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, computer games and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Farmer; brothers, Robert and James Couch and grandson, Jason Mathes.
Sudie is survived by her children, Paul Farmer, Lora (Larry Stansell) Mathes, Janet (William) Huntsinger, Stella (Tim) Singleton, Karen (Johnny Mathes) Farmer, Katherine (Ron Griffin) Hoye, Kenneth (Diana) Farmer and Evelyn Sargent; sister, Vesta Davenport; brother, Anthony (Elaine) Couch; grandchildren Michelle, Rachel, Tadd, Adam, Johnny Jr., Jennifer and Mary; 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 15th from 6:00-8:00PM at Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn Candler. A Graveside Service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler at 11:00AM on Tuesday, April 16th with Rev. Tim Fultz officiating.
