Sue Noland

Sue Caroline Noland, age 81, of Fines Creek Road passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at The Homestead in Clyde. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Macy Rogers Noland. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Pete Noland. She was a member of Crabtree United Methodist Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Sue was an avid reader, loved working in her flower gardens, traveling and her pets. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, David Noland; three daughters, Julie Catterton and her husband, Chuck of Franklin, Tennessee, Charlotte Adams and her husband, Craig, of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Shannon Sumner and her husband, Kevin, of Franklin Tennessee; and a grandson, David Catterton of Nashville, Tennessee. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Crabtree United Methodist Church with the Reverend Terry Rowland officiating. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church following the committal service at Dawn Memory Gardens.
