Sue Norris

Sue King Norris, age 78, died on Friday, October 21, 2011 at the Brian Center of Waynesville. A native of Sandy Mush she was the daughter of the late Troy and Mae Belle McMahan King. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David W. "Bud" Norris, who died in 1996. She spent the last five years in the Brian Center. She is survived by two sons Steven Norris of Wilkesboro and Danny Norris of Waynesville; two daughters, Debra Stefanchick of Clyde and Darlene Compton of Weaverville; seven brothers and sisters; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens with the eulogy given by her daughter, Debra Stefanchick. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
