Sue Snyder

Sue Evans Snyder, 84, of Brevard died Thursday, January 21, 2010 at a local nursing home. She was a daughter of the late Samuel and Pauline Galloway Evans. She was also preceded in death by her husband, a Brevard Pharmacist, Shuford E. Snyder, two brothers, Grady and W.C. Evans and a sister Helen Evans Minter.

Mrs. Snyder was born August 29, 1925 in Clemson, SC and was a graduate of Lander College in Greenwood, SC. She and her husband were long standing members of Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church.

A loving and devoted mother, she is survived by her son, Samuel W. Snyder of Brevard, one sister, Muriel Evans Snodgrass of Columbia, SC and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2PM on Saturday in the Chapel of Faith at Forest Lawn with the Rev. Dr. Keith Thompson and Rev. Debbie Brittain officiating. The family will receive friends in the chapel an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the park.
