Susan Scott

Waynesville, Susan Ann Scott, age 78, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at her home.

A native of Rochester, New York, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Ann Nock.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Gail Judson.  Susan worked a great part of her career for the State of Florida as a Supervisor in the Department of Children and Families.  For fun and relaxation, Susan and Gene would travel the world.  Her favorite destination was Hawaii.  Susan visited the Aloha State over 40 times in her life and in addition enjoyed visiting Las Vegas.  She was also an avid collector of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs figurines and Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls.  Susan was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Waynesville.

Susan is survived by her husband of 47 years, Gene Scott, of Waynesville; four daughters, Lori Vieschke, of Florida, Jennifer Ritger (Chris) of New York, Amy Semmler of Florida, and Terri Weston (Charles) of Florida; four sons, Eric Semmler (Lee) of Florida, Jamie Semmler (Kim) of Florida, Jeff Scott (Marla) of Florida, and Jon Scott of Tennessee; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date.

The care of Mrs. Scott has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes.
