Susan Sherman

July 27, 1964 — February 21, 2016

Mills River, Susan Renee Snyder Sherman, age 51, passed away to eternal life, hidden with Christ, on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the Elizabeth House. Susan was a native of Henderson County, and was the daughter of Richard Snyder and the late Phyllis Tolley Snyder. Susan was employed by Food Lion as a manager for 17 years. She enjoyed being with her family and friends and was a member of Mud Creek Baptist Church in Hendersonville. In addition to her father and wonderful stepmother, Jeanette Smith Snyder, she is survived by her husband of 19 years, Billy Sherman; her two daughters, Sara and Anna Sherman; a brother, Roger Snyder (Gayle) of Mills River; a niece, Ashley Ward (Nick); and a nephew, Taylor Snyder. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2016 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Bennett officiating. Entombment will follow at The Horizon at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
