Susan Sherren

Susan A. Sherren, 66, of Candler, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the Four Seasons Hospice. She was born October 28, 1945 in New Bedford, MA, to the late Fred Leon Kane, Jr. and Mildred Virginia Marra Kane. She moved to the Asheville area in December 1995, where she has since made her home. Susan had worked as a secretary in the fields of law, medicine and manufacturing. Most recently she retired after 15 years with the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office.
She is survived by her daughter, Wendy M. Brown of Asheville; granddaughter, Hariette Star Reade of Asheville; sister, Linda L. Doherty, and husband, John P., of Stratford, CT; nieces, Lisa C. Bradshaw and husband, Matthew, of Seymour, CT and Jennifer L. Doherty of Stratford, CT and great nephew, Samuel T. Bradshaw of Seymour, CT.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 6th at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
