"Devoted Wife, Mother & Grandmother" Canton – Ora Suzanne (Burnette) Paquette, age 77, a retired nurse from Haywood County Hospital, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 08, 2015 at her home. A resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Oron and Mabel Farmer Burnette. Suzy was a member of Good News Baptist Church in Candler. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Edward Paquette; two daughters, Kelley (Paquette) Moore and her husband, Phillip Moore, of Waynesville and Patricia (Paquette) Burgess and her husband, Weston Burgess, of Weaverville; two sons, Kevan M. Paquette and his wife, Paula Paquette, of Swannanoa and Keith E. Paquette; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Michael Burnette of Pennsylvania and Phillip Patrick Burnette of Asheville. A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Good News Baptist Church in Candler with the Reverend Steve Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. with the service immediately following. Private family burial will be at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain.
