Teddy Cogburn

Canton - Teddy Roosevelt Cogburn, age 62, of Way Abel Road died Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at his residence.<br><br>He was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and the son of the late Luther and Gladys Pressley Cogburn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella G. Cogburn who died in 1989; two brothers, Bobby and Wade Cogburn; a sister, Vera Cogburn and a step granddaughter Kelly Cunningham.<br><br>He enjoyed camping and the outdoors.<br><br>He is survived by four sons, Ronnie Brown, Gary, Scott and Marty Cogburn all of Canton; a step daughter, Reta Conard of Waynesville; four sisters, Mickey Rathbone, Wanda Cogburn, Katherine Clontz and Louise Cogburn all of Canton; a brother, Tony Cogburn of Canton and seven grandchildren, Cameron Brown, Ben Johnson, Crystal Cogburn, Chad Cogburn, Nathan Cogburn, Kasey Weeks and Kari Cogburn.<br><br>Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 18, 2005 at the Canton chapel of Wells Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.<br>
