Teresa Cogburn

1942-2016 Candler - Teresa Louise "Teri" Cogburn, age 73, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center. Teresa was native of Buncombe County, and a prior resident of Bellflower, California. She was the daughter of the late Medford and Carrie Williams Cogburn. Teresa was a former employee of Cogburn Realty in Bellflower, California. She served as a volunteer with the Buncombe County Genealogy Society, and was a member of Church of the Redeemer in Asheville. Teresa is survived by a son Jeffrey William Miller, Sr. of Bellflower, California; a grandson, Jeffrey William Miller, Jr. of Asheville; and several cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 30. 2016 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Father Alex Hanks officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:45 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
