Teresa Wooten Ingle

Teresa Wooten Ingle, 70, of Asheville went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 22, 2023, at Mission Hospital.  Teresa was born in San Antonio, TX, but resided in North Asheville most of her life, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Ora Mae Wooten.

A 1971 graduate of Asheville High School, Teresa attended UNC-Asheville.  She retired from the Buncombe County Tax office after more than 20 years. She was an accomplished pianist and had served as pianist at Merrimon Avenue Baptist Church and Oteen Baptist Church and was a member of Newbridge Baptist Church.  Teresa and Ronnie loved to travel and along with her sister Beverly, they were off and going every chance they got.  She was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her and will be missed immensely.

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Ronnie Ingle; sisters, Beverly Wooten of Mooresville, NC and Patricia Martinez of Kingsport, TN; very special nephew, Richard Moore and his wife, Brenda of Asheville along with many cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Wells Chapel of Faith in Candler.  Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
