Terrell Moore

June 25, 1929 — July 24, 2010

Terrell Clayton Moore, Sr., age 81, died on Thursday, July 23, 2010, at NC State Veterans Nursing Home in Salisbury, NC. A native of Madison County, he was the son of the late John Franklin Moore, Sr. and Ethel Rhinehart Moore. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Wise Moore, who died in 2008 and a son, Terrell Clayton Moore, Jr., who died in 2003. Terrell retired from BASF with 32 years of service and was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church. He was a United States Army veteran serving at Fort Sill, OK. He is survived by a daughter, Cheryl M. Smith of Asheville and two brothers, John Franklin Moore, Jr., and his wife, Jeanette, of Etowah and James Oliver Moore of Asheville. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 25, 2010, at Ridgeway Baptist Church with the Reverend Jack W. Collins officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the church. An interment service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 26, 2010, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Ridgeway Baptist Church, 525 Old US 19/23 Highway, Candler, NC 28715.
