Terry Beasley

Clyde, Terry Wayne Beasley, age 43, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2016, at Memorial Mission Hospital. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late James William "Bill" and Pauline Smith Beasley. He was also preceded in death by a brother, James Roger Beasley; paternal grandparents, Douglas and Nancy Elizabeth Justice Beasley; and maternal grandparents, Frank and Maggie Smith. Terry was employed as the Electronics Department supervisor with Wal-Mart. Terry will be most remembered for his warm smile, "cut up attitude" and making friends wherever he went. His family was his biggest blessings including his special Wal-Mart co-workers he considered family. Terry was an avid UNC TarHeels fan and adored the music of Reba McEntire. Trips to Dollywood were one of his favorite outings with his family. He will be deeply missed. Terry is survived by his wife of ten years, Vickie Sue Beasley; one step-daughter, Elizabeth Ann Thomas, of Kingsport, Tennessee; a special cat "Misty Angel"; and many extended beloved family members and his entire Wal-Mart family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 7, 2016 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from noon until 1:45 at the funeral home.
