Terry Revis

Terry Phillip "Phil" Revis, age 64, of Millers Creek, Wilkesboro, passed away at his residence on Tuesday evening, September 18, 2012. He was born on October 7, 1947 to the late Cecil Marcell and Junnie Belle Williams Revis. Phil was retired as the Chief of Investigations for the NC Department of Juvenile Justice, and was a State Trooper with the North Carolina Highway Patrol. He was a member of Oakwoods Baptist Church. Surviving include his wife of 39 years, Linda Johnson Revis; one son - Scott Lendon Revis, both of the home; one daughter - Laura Revis Hubbard; one granddaughter - Katherine "Katie" Revis Hubbard, both of Wilkesboro; one sister - Gail Revis Burress; one niece - Pamela Burress Greene and one nephew - Kevin Lane Burress, all of Canton, NC. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 21, 2012 from 11:45 am - 1:45 pm at Oakwoods Baptist Church in Wilkesboro with the service following at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Scenic Memorial Gardens. Rev. Robert Duncan will be officiating. Military rights will be provided by VFW Post 1142.
