Terry Thompson

Plantation, Florida formerly of Canton – Terry Dale Thompson, 66, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at his sister’s residence.

Terry was a native of Haywood County and a son of James Franklin Thompson of Hendersonville and Geraldine Smith of Canton.  He was the owner of BioTheme Research Solutions, Inc. in Davie, Florida.  Terry loved to play softball, watch sports and play challenging games on the computer.  He was a kind and decent man with a wonderful sense of humor.  He was a loyal friend to many.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Renee Thompson of Canton and Tamara Thompson Medford of Clyde; one brother, James Robbie Thompson and wife, Thelma, of Aiken, South Carolina; a half-brother, Joseph Thompson of Hendersonville; three nephews, Bryan A., Steven D. and Nicholas Thompson; and one niece, Dominique D. Medford; and a special friend, Carol Cherry of Davie, Florida.  The family would like to extend a special thanks to his caregiver, Edward Sharpe.

A private family service will be held.
