Thelma Rogers

Waynesville, Thelma Mehaffey Rogers, age 80, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012. She was a native of Louisville, TN and was the daughter of the late Robert Harvey and Lila Belle Patterson Mehaffey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Rogers in 2010 three brothers, Clarence, William R. and Laymond V. Mehaffey and a sister, Betty Lynn Mull. She was a member of James Chapel Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Ronald P. Rogers and his wife Nancy of Waynesville; one sister, Eunice M. "Gwen" Green of Charlotte; a brother, Raymond H. Mehaffey of Harriman, TN and one grandson, Andrew Norman Rogers. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. Reverend Mark Caldwell and Reverend Wayne Willett will officiate. Burial will follow at Fines Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
